Finally registered for school yesterday. The highlight of the week will probably be Psych 101 at Sylvania campus, where the hotties go. Fall term, baby, with all the 18yo girls fresh out of high school looking for an older man with experience.
Aw, yeah.
(note to self: ride bike much this summer)
I think my work schedule might return to normal next week. I hope I hope I hope.
I also got my bike back Wednesday, and, it’s not fixed. They didn’t replace the frame after all, they did something else. Something that didn’t work. So I’ll give a week then take it back.
But I did find out that the shop DOES have loaners. Homeboy kinda forgot to mention that.

I hate when my sloth competes with my conscientiousness. Because it usually loses, and I’d rather be lazy.
Day off tomorrow. I hope.
Some of you may have heard me whine about how much I miss living in Old Town. Just now I was reminded of one reason why. While walking to Holgate to catch the bus to work (scheduled for 47 hrs this week, with a double today, yay me) I could smell the pollen in the air.
Hay fever. Reason #2 Old Town kicks Lents’ ass. Reason #1 is white trash, and Old Town’s lack thereof, of course.
A lady just rode the MAX from where I got on at Yamhill to Lloyd Center in a bridal gown. She was with two guys in suits, carrying their jackets who looked drunk.
Now that’s taking your commitment to public transit a bit far.
Not only are there the little job things, like being the only dishwasher in a restaurant, not only is summer my time to be doped up on antihistamines all the time but it appears that it’s going to be a paperwork summer.
My financial aid for next year was initially denied because I had hit the limit of attempted credits for an associate’s degree. The limit is 135cr and when I got into the process to extend the time frame I saw on a print out that the last time I went to school I attempted about 125cr. Heh heh. Oops. Whatever computer flagged me was just looking at totals and didn’t notice that those first 125cr were ten years ago. But that got straightened out as soon as a human looked at it.
So that’s all good. I’m getting more money this year than last, which means I’m getting three disbursals instead of two, which means I won’t have to save money for the third term. Also means more money to pay back later. Oops.
But yesterday I got a letter from my lender (which I also have unrelated credit cards from) that since my enrollment at school had ended it was time to set up a repayment schedule on my student loans!
Grrrr.
Good thing I didn’t throw it away unopened, I assumed it was yet another attempt from Citibank to get me to owe them more money.
I should have my bike back on Tuesday. Oh, glee. :-)
And in other news, as of Monday we’ll have one, count me, one dishwasher at work. Okay, God, it’s not funny any more!!!!
Why does anyone give a shit about Superman? He’s indestructible, where’s the drama? Unless of course you can find some plotdevicium, I mean, kryptonite. Which doesn’t seem to be that hard to get.
And, um, he’s wearing red panties. Hello. He’s a SLUT!
Anyhoo.
I’ve managed to hit the gym every day so far this week. Today will be the test. Stayed up too late last night (not doing anything, just sitting around the house), now I’m up and hafta work. It’s supposed to be hot today and work has no air conditioning in the kitchen (although there is a swamp cooler, but I’m not sure why) and a multitude of heat sources (duh!) so we’ll see how I feel after that. But then I skipped my shower this morning because I’m ostensibly going to take one at the gym. Hmmmm.
